A Start to Project 3

So christine and I met up this morning at Coffee Bean, and discussed different ideas about this project. We came up with a couple of good ideas that i think could be implemented very well with our 1st idea. Our first thought was to make a folding out pamphlet of images with a di-cut of paper texture inside of the images. On the back there would be a description of the paper. the pamphlet would fold out similar to an accordion.

Our second idea, and the idea we want to strive to do, is mimicking a deck of cards. We want to find imagery and cut it out like a card. we would still have the di-cut like the first idea, however this would be interactive for the consumer. They would be able to play with these cards, as if they were a real deck, while advertising the imagery and paper for consumers. The cards would be placed inside of a box or tin.

We still need to find imagery, but researched a few this morning in communication magazines, and the internet. We are going for a retro- urban feel of imagery. Something funky and different. I think that our project will come out really nice if we can find the right imagery and implement the di-cut correctly.
